Samuel Adams Beer Company Founder Jim Koch personally owned Suburban! How cool is that! Jim Koch of Samuel Adams purchased it brand new from the GMC dealer. What a pedigree to own this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. It is one thing to own a low mileage 31,350-mile Suburban, but to own the Suburban that was purchased brand new from the Founder of Samuel Adams beer company is over the top.
The condition is excellent. The interior had the original plastic still on the floor. The interior literally shows close to new. Has the glycerin sheen to the fabric on the seats, carpet the same way no fading whatsoever.
The body is rust free, undercarriage untouched, paint looks great. Not sure if the Suburban has been totally painted, which is not uncommon for a 30-year-old Suburban all body panel line up as they should drives like new, the 454ci is a real powerhouse very strong. Everything works & the back window works perfectly.
These older Suburbans are bringing in a premium and are in huge demand. Two high end auction houses have contacted me and said that with 31k miles and the condition and the history of this Suburban, they would accept close to $40k.
Do not think there will be another Suburban like this one any time soon.
