Up for sale is a 1989 Chevy C2500. This is a real barn find!
Previous owner parked truck approximately 15 yrs ago. Needing a fuel pump. Truck was originally from Texas (see safety inspection stickers). We got the truck and replaced 34 gal fuel tank and fuel pump module. While we had the tank out we replaced rear brake line that appeared to be wet and the front compartment of master cylinder was empty. Changed oil and filter. Installed new battery. And fired it up! No knocks no tick no smoke! Runs like a dream. Found clutch slave cylinder and master cylinder needed to be replaced. Replaced both components. Clutch engaged and disengages as it should. Installed 4 late model 3/4 ton factory wheels and Goodyear tires. At this point offer truck up for sale for new owner to finish the truck to their specifications. We did not service the brakes, belts/hoses, or tune up components. Truck was built with factory air, cc, tilt delay, am/fm cassette player, Scottsdale trim package and 8ft bed first gen extended cab. Previous owner claims engine was replaced/overhauled at a GM dealer within 9 months of the fuel pump failing and parking the truck.
