Vehicle description
1989 Chevrolet C1500 Silverado, Stepside , 2wd, TBI 305 V8 engine, 700R4 transmission, power windows, power door locks. Runs runs cool at 180 degrees, Has good power down low and shifts firm. Rocker panels need repair, clear coat on roof is bad, bed supports need to be replaced, hood may need to be replaced. AC system is in tack but needs charge, radio does not work, rear transmission seal needs replacement (do not have to remove the trans to replace), may need valve work in the future, but you probably want to swap the engine out for a 350, 454 or do a LS swap. Has new Firestone tires, new exhaust from the manifolds backs, single Magnaflow muffler with dual exhaust. It sounds tuned, not harsh. Oil sending switch and pressure sensor have been replaced, new battery, new wipers, coolant changed, recent oil change, fuel filter changed, new serpentine belt, new air filter, new battery, new spark plugs and wires. Fuel gauge does not work. New center bolt GM Performance chrome valve covers and gaskets go with the truck. Bench seat is in very good shape, no rips or tears. Tachometer installed. Title history: Current Florida title, NJ Salvage (2009), PA Rebuilt (2010). Only a couple thousand miles in the last ten years. No insurance problems. I can store for 30 days after purchase or meet your transporter. You will either love or hate the flames. This would be a cool OBS (old body style) truck to feature on your YouTube channel, to restore, or as a running and driving father and son project.
