If you"re gonna catch a virus then be safe and catch Reatta Fever like I did. I currently own 6 Reattas and I caught the fever pretty bad. Even with all of this free time on my hands in lockdown I still cannot drive 6 of these Reattas consistently. So somehow I figured that now is the time for me to part with one of them and it"s this beautiful 1989 Black/Red Reatta. Only because this one is King of all of my Reattas. It"s so nice that I seem to have this strange aversion to letting it go over 50,000 miles. It needs a new owner who wants a really nice Reatta and doesn"t give a flip about driving it over 50,000 miles. If you"re going to have one Reatta then this is the one for you. Lately it seems that white is the predominant color of Reattas for sale on ebay. I also see a crap ton of red ones as well. So here"s one Reatta that truly stands out! Now is your chance to own this stunningly beautiful 1989 Reatta finished in Black with contrasting Red (Burgandy) interior. 1989 was the second year of production for the Reatta and 7008 units were produced. Out of 907 produced in Black in 1989 this is one of 237 that were produced in Black with the red interior. The other interior colors with Black were Saddle -351 made, and Gray 319 made.This low mileage Reatta spent most of it"s life garaged in Tennessee until 2015 when I acquired it from a big time wealthy Buick collector in Louisiana. The 1989 Buick Reatta was the second year and last year for the Reatta to be produced with the CRT touch screen. Among Reatta-lovers and car people in general the 1988"s & 1989"s with the touch screen seem to be a little more unique and have an added Wow factor. Most people are blown away when they find out that GM produced a few lines of automobiles with the touch screen in the late 80"s. Reatta"s came equipped standard with almost everything. But this Reatta is also equipped with the rare optional sunroof (which works flawlessly) The only option not on this Reatta is the 16 way power seats. This Reatta has always been garage kept and it shows! No fading on the interior, and nearly perfect paint. A few minor stone chips on the front, a few tiny paint touch ups here and there but over all it looks like a car with 4800 miles on it. I finally relented and had the air conditioner converted to the new R134a last year and it blows hard and it"s ice cold. All accessories, the headlights and even the cassette player work flawlessly! No ABS warning lights or check-engine lights on this Reatta at all! Since we purchased it 5 years ago, we"ve completed a myriad of repairs mainly because I"m fanatic about maintaining these Reattas. It had 41,000 miles on it when we got it and now it has 48,745. It runs smooth and quiet, no air leaks from the windows. The finest in sporty luxury touring from Buick in the 80"s. New 215/65/R15 tires (less than 2000 miles on them)

Cam sensor pickup magnet replaced Open the driver side door get in and close the door and you will be entertained by the Reatta light show. You will notice that dash has no cracks in it, the original windshield does not have any cracks or chips either. You will feel so comfortable in the red leather power driver seat you"ll fall in love. You"ll instantly be ready to take this car on a road trip back home from Texas! (But pay me first please) The interior on this Reatta is nearly perfect. No rips, tears or abrasions on the seats or door panels, rear carpeted compartment is not faded, no stains or filth, no mildewy smells either. There is a little more wear on the driver seat than the passenger seat. (typical) The headliner looks like the day this Reatta rolled out of the Reatta Craft Centre in Lansing, Michigan in May of 1989. The digital dash, touch screen (replaced recently) and all electronics work perfectly. The sunroof works as new. I did have the entire hood repainted when I left the buffer on the same spot for too long which wore the paint in that area pretty thin (about 3 inches long) The hood struts have been replaced so the hood does not fall & crush your skull or smash your hands while admiring the smooth running 3.8 V6 motor This Reatta includes two sets of factory keys with original gray fully functional key-less entry remotes, the original owner"s manual in the original supple leather case.(Really Rich! ) If you lusted after the Buick Reatta when they were released in 1988, (then you must be pretty old by now) and you did not want to fork over the $25K for a new one, then now is the time to buy this one!
