Vehicle description

For Sale is this beautiful 1987 Ferrari 328 GTS replica built on a 1988 Pontiac Fiero GT 2.8L V6, timing chained (not belts so no maintenance there), 5 speed T-Top, fiberglass body, car is red, interior is gray, rear spoiler, low 34k miles, interior is stock Fiero except for Ferrari Momo leather steering wheel/horn/logo, Koni shocks, red poly bushings, little to no under-rust, new distributor (not just the cap, the whole distributor) in 2015-16 set at stock 5 degrees, rebuilt/re-manufactured steering rack, new wires and plugs, working lights (might need some attention), working cruise control, working gauges, starts right up, 3SDM Wheels, tires have good tread but not a good tire brand/rubber (Triangle), the radio works, speakers work but are dried out. I"ve got $200 faux-leather seat covers, and a custom felt-lined outdoor waterproof sun-reflective gray winter cover (which I will include) new brakes and rotors in 2016, new radiator 2014 or so, works perfectly, I have invoices for what I"ve done recently, including new alternator belt, new a/c compressor belt. .unfortunately with the new ac belt, I think too much tension damaged the ac compressor and the compressor will need to be replaced, the a/c blows cold, but the bearing or ac clutch just gave out on June 18th! Professionally re-welded rear tail-pipes, this June 2018, original exhaust. The car was also just aligned this June. There is some fading clear coat but it"s hard to see, no peeling or anything like that, and a good wax easily restores it. There are some small repairable surface cracks, also hard to see. NY registered and titled, 2019 NY State inspection, I only run 90+ octane (usually 93 from Costco, but this car will run fine on 87 if that"s who you want to be), and regular oil (no synthetic) car just had oil change this June. Car does not burn oil, engine has great compression. I have new heater box (will include) but the heat is not really used so it"s currently bypassed. Drivers side window regulator has some rattling when the window is down, the front windshield has ice-scraper scratches in one spot on the passenger side, but doesn"t bother the driver"s side (or passenger too much) so it was left alone. The car runs great, smooth fast acceleration, nice downshifting, and amazing handling, easily cruises smoothly at 80 mph with foot barely on the gas. I"m selling because we are relocating and unfortunately we will not have room for it. I am also selling the car locally and will reserve the right to end the auction early, however I will do my best to honor the ebay auction, therefore this will be a "no reserve" sale and I started the bidding reasonably for this low mileage car. I expect there will be a lot of interest because: 1. It"s Red! , 2. It"s beautiful, and doesn"t look like a laughable replica! 3. It"s a T-Top!, and 4. The New Magnum P.I. TV series will be out soon! Best of luck to its new owner, hopefully it’s you!
