Vehicle description
No Reserve Auction. High Bid Wins. Good Luck to you! 1988 Porsche 928 S4 Black /Tan 1 Owner since 2008 19" Porsche Lobster Claw Wheels + spacers on ultra low-profile tires New Leather ( front seats ) Rear Wing Sunroof 115 Amp Bosch alternator Automatic Transmission 2 OEM Ignition Keys 2 OEM "secret" door armrest storage compartments for front seats 1 OEM Lockable Leather Storage Compartment between rear seats Aftermarket CD player +Radio (see night pic!) Aftermarket steering wheel ( I love the way it looks and feels in my hands ) 1" Momo steering wheel spacer on hub adapter Factory Porsche Tow Hook ( never used on my watch ) New rear battery ground strap Engine-bay fuel pressure gauge Fire Extinguisher This 928 starts, revs, runs, drives, shifts, and handles like a Porsche should. It drives+tracks straight and true (no mis-alignment or suspension wobble/tilt). Its doors open effortlessly and close with that delightful Porsche "click" ( you know you want it! ). Its power electric sunroof works. Power seats work. Also, their new leather feels fantastic! These are great seats to drive in. The power windows work. Power locks work. Also, I"ve never seen the Alarm activated in the past 13 years. Power steering works. Power brakes work. The hood and hatch both lift and then they stay raised on their own like they should. The power electric pop-up headlights work. Cruise Control works. Paint is within the past 5 years. Tires have almost full tread remaining. Battery holds its charge even if parked for a week without being driven. No significant rust anywhere. 100% positive feedback, long-term buyer+seller (Ferrari 348 Spyder, 1986.5 Porsche 928, Corvette C4 convertible, Z28, 300ZX, Dual axle party bus, etc.). Quirks It"s reasonable to expect quirks and surprises on any car driven for more than 3 decades (143k+ Miles!), and its quirks include: Must be started in Neutral and Parked with eBrake deployed, Windshield has a single small chip in the corner glass, Horn doesn"t honk, A/C is weak ( R134 converted circa 2008 ), Dash is cracked and some side panel leather is warped, Door pocket-change coin-holder is missing 1 spring, Power side-mirror adjustment-joystick is missing, No under-belly floor engine cover (belly pan) or rear fuel filter cover, No under-carpet battery cover ( saves weight?! ), Most factory tools are missing from the rear in-cockpit Porsche toolkit, Antilock light illuminates on dash after driving forward ( typically means a new wheel speed sensor is needed ), Floor mats need to be replaced, No spare tire, No front under-bumper spoiler. Notes : 2 different cameras were used for the pictures: Kodak Pix Pro and Samsung S21 on June 24 thru June 27, 2021 This 928 S4 can be picked up by the winning buyer *after* July 8, 2021 (if paid in full first)
