Relisted as previous buyer lost storage space and had no place to park the car. This 1988 Fiero GT belonged to a General Motors executive. His daughter inherited the car and she brought it to Arizona where it sat for some time due to the fact that it needed a new clutch. Rather than go to the expense of having the clutch repaired, she decided to sell the car. I was contacted, as she knew me to be a sucker for old and unusual vehicles. The car was taken to one of the best shops in town. They had it for seven months. The entire rear clip was removed (see photos) and anything that needed to be repaired or replaced was done. The engine was completely resealed from the oil pan to the intake plenum. Pumps, distributor, wires, belts, hoses, clutch, AC compressor/accumulator, brakes, etc. were replaced. See invoice for more info. The headlights were repaired with new motors. The voltage control, located in the left front fender, was also replaced. Ne w battery. Wheels were sent to Wheel Specialties and power coated, polished and trued. Intake plemun and valve covers were powder coated and polished. If you are looking for a Fiero GT, you know that the 1988 model is the one to get, as it was the most updated and improved. I believe this car to be completely original. It is in excellent condition. The paint shines and the interior is beautiful. I was told only 242 yellow GT’s were produced in ’88, so this makes this car a rarity. I have taken this car on two long trips and it is just a blast to drive . Gets noticed everywhere I go. The radio is aftermarket, but I have the original radio, a bra, car cover, extra keys, owner’s manual and maintenance manual. If you are looking for a reliable, original, low mileage Fiero, you just found it.
