Vehicle description
About this vehicle This 1988 Mitsubishi Pajero is an original with updates to the exterior and interior. The owner has had it for 3 years. The vehicle runs great and is mainly used for weekend drives. Seller"s Notes Rust free, No mechanical Issues, unique, RHD, imported Turbo Diesel! Vehicle Details Hello! Please don’t bid unless you plan to purchase! I’m selling my garage-kept Pajero due to personal reasons. Contact me with any questions not answered below! 1988 Mitsubishi Pajero - 4D56T intercooled turbo diesel motor, 5 speed manual transmission, in immaculate shape with FACTORY WINCH installed. only allows a few pictures with the "basic" package, so please ask for more if you want to see something in particular! Many people think a RHD JDM vehicle with this motor is hard to find parts for. I can provide sources for every possible part you may need. The body is identical (minus the reversed seating for RHD) to the U.S. market Mitsubishi Montero and Dodge Raider (rebadged Montero). Body parts can be found and taken from those, if they were ever needed. Everything is available in the U.S. for this vehicle except the motor parts. The motor parts are easily ordered, as this vehicle was incredibly popular around the world where it was originally sold. Again, I can provide sources for parts, as there are plenty. I encourage you, if you don't know much about them, to do some research on the amazing capabilities of the Pajero, as well as it's history. I've owned several, and currently drive a different one daily to work. They're unique, easy to work on, and simply a cool ride. This vehicle was imported about 3 years ago, and I bought it from the importer located in Florida. This particular year model of the Pajero did not originally have an intercooler (It was added in the 89 model, I believe). The importer added the intercooler in Florida. The tires are practically new, as I only drive this thing on weekends. I also use a cold air intake on it, but I have the original air intake that goes with it if you'd prefer it. No leaks, no rough idles, no rust, no mechanical issues. Clean title in hand. As a JDM vehicle, it does not have a 17 digit vin, so it is registered under it's chassis number (which works like a vin, but without as many letters) Garage kept for the last few years I’ve owned it. ZERO RUST! I can send pictures and videos of everything to show the undercarriage. Please see these videos below for full walkthroughs! https:/ youtu.be/Gam4VxeXfJ0 https:/ youtu.be/4UZO5H-EEro https:/ youtu.be/jJuC2Hq7ysI Basic routine maintenance performed regularly, never an oil leak or any mechanical issues as long as I’ve owned it. All belts were changed about 2 years ago. Driven under 2000 miles a year. New glow plugsPaint job 1 year agoWaxed every 3 monthsInterior has flannel fabric on it solely for protection. I can reveal the vinyl underneath if necessary to show that it looks great.Brand new carpet installedBumpers painted in gloss blackTrailer light wiring installedFog lights installedCB Antennas includedLED Headlights installedWindows tinted to 20%Aftermarket touchscreen Bluetooth radioMud tires have 85% or better tread! She drives like a dream. No mechanical issues whatsoever. Starts on the coldest mornings or the hottest days. 4x4 works fine. Cosmetically, there are a few very minor flaws in the paint I can take close up pictures of, but nothing serious. I will not be relisting if it doesn't sell - I'll just keep it. The last few have sold for much more than my bottom dollar. Ask any questions you have! Happy to assist! Exterior Interior Engine Download the Motors app
