Vehicle description
Up for auction is my early US spec 1988 Range Rover Classic County Camel Trophy without the decals (I do have a pair for fenders if desired). This is a no accident truck, fires right up as it should and drives well for its age. A lot of time and money has been put into this truck as you can see, here are the details of the rover. .
-100k actual miles (100,348 to be exact, will go up as I"m driving 1-2 times a week) -Painted Custom Sand Color by previous owner including door jams, rear hatch and wheels. -Recently serviced (full tune up) -New front hub seals -New suspension springs all around -New Jerry style gas cans -Tire grip mats -Off road jack (strapped to roof rack) -Full front genuine range rover bush guard (rhino lined and painted semi gloss black) -Rear light guards genuine range rover (rhino lined and painted semi gloss black) -Full size roof rack genuine range rover (rhino lined and painted semi gloss black) -Side skirts and rear bumper rhino lined and painted semi gloss black to match -8 bush lights on the roof rack and 2 on the bush guard with a further 2 in the lower bumper (all lights work with switches on dash) -Ice cold AC works -Full new leather interior in good condition -Brand new headliner -New rear exhaust -New OEM starter added -4 wheel drive works (though I have never off-roaded)
Car runs and drives as it should, shifts, all gauges work, etc. and is very nice for its age, though a lot of work has been done to complete the camel trophy look, I must remind everyone it is still a 30 year old truck, it is not a fully restored RR classic, but presents quite well (see pics), gives off more of the safari defender feel without the price tag. It"s a driver quality paint job, don"t expect a show quality job, but this is meant to be rugged and for off-road use, so I"m really not sure how nice you"d want the paint to be! There is no corrosion on the car, no corrosion whatsoever underneath (see pics), was never undercoated or anything under, and the tailgate has a little wear around the trim (see pics), very hard to tell. When the roof rack was added, the sunroof was sealed, never planned on using anyway and would be problematic with current setup. There was mileage error at dmv many years ago however this was amended by previous owner (lady entered the millage as not actual instead of actual), mileage is correct, odometer and all gauges on the dash work just fine, just did rear brakes and alignment. Just want to disclose everything, but I"m pretty picky overall, but it"s a very nice Range Rover Classic, again gives more of the safari style Defender look without the price. This is the same drive-train as many of the gas imported defenders out there of the same era being the 3.5 V8 gas Car has a clean title and is currently registered with my company in Montana, can be transferred to CA or anywhere else in the country with no issues.
All reasonable offers considered, (text/call) 415.373.2965 for questions or if you"d like to view. Happy to assist with shipping. I also just took videos of the truck, walk-around, cold startup (no issues), running and driving (also no issues), for piece of mind for buyers around the country. Thanks for your interest and good luck!:)
