1988 Land Rover Defender 110 van. If you"re looking for a Defender to make into an overlander, a kid hauler, a shop truck, a minibar/mobile cafe or an advertising vehicle, your search is over, it"s a blank canvas! Message me for additional photos - I have dozens.This UK spec Defender was bought from Kent. It was originally orange, was painted safety green at one point, and is now black (I did not do any of this). As it spent its life in the UK, it does have rust through in the rear crossmember and surface rust is starting to form on the bulkhead panels BUT, included with the sale is a brand new (in the box) crossmember and new bulkhead patch panels. Floors are solid. Chassis has surface rust, but ABSOLUTELY NO rust through anywhere. A good scrub with a wire brush and a wax oil treatment would make it good as new. If you want any of this work done before you get it, I can have it done for a great price. I use a fantastic shop that is 100% veteran owned and operated.As far as the engine and transmission goes. . there are none! And let"s be honest, thats what you want. This Defender had the NA 4 cylinder petrol motor that made all of 70 horsepower. Now you can put in a 300Tdi, a TD5, an LS, a Coyote, a Hemi, a 1UZ, a Cummins 12v, the options are endless, and again, if there"s any motor you want installed, let me know and it"ll be done. What it does still have is power steering reservoir, radiator, radiator support bracket, wiring, prop shaft and a few other odds and ends.For the interior, it is very bare; but with the exception of the seats, it is in great shape. The door cards look good and the switches and buttons aren"t missing paint and look new. Even the seats don"t have any gouges in the foam, they could be recovered and would look fine. Or you could tear out the entire interior and make it completely bespoke. I can make it as spartan or as luxurious as you want. From new factory spec to heated diamond stitch seats with a suede headliner, air conditioning, and a 10" touch screen with a backup camera.The Defender currently has a small lift (not sure how much) and is wearing offroad tires, so it is very tall, and very visible. Put your company"s logo on that big side panel and it is IMPOSSIBLE to miss. I can even install panoramic windows to improve driver visibility and still put a logo over the glass.
