Original Chassis is an original unpainted strong solid chassis with original numbers, 300tdi Engine is powerful and strong and all numbers matching V5 (UK registration papers). This Defender is a perfect daily driver, or to be fully restored. Fully legal in the US. low milage, Will be sold with original steel wheels and 750 tires unless we arrange something different.

We only choose Defenders with solid chassis and that are great runners, this Defender starts every time and is a reliable vehicle. Bad bits this vehicle would benefit from cosmetic work but is structurally strong in the chassis and bulkhead - a great base to build your ideal vehicle. Or drive it as it is as, this Defender will go anywhere and last for many years to come as it is, cosmetics aren"t required. doors and windows rattle a bit as do all original Defenders. This Defender is ready to go anywhere with no work required.
This was bought by us as a base to build up to a high spec Defender before exporting, so you know it is a sound vehicle for your plans.

As mentioned it has a strong original chassis, it was originally Waxoyled so has remained in good shape. There have been repair panels welded in the bulkhead by the floor, visible in photos. Front right fender has dents in it. This Defender is in daily use and is one of our favourites in the Mad Max black (not a great paint job, but its fine for now) . Either drive it as it is and maintain, with the view to one day a chassis off restoration, or start a resto today! It would want new doors and A & B pillars along with all smaller trim items and the upgrades you"d desire during a full resto. The chassis and original numbers and strong 300tdi are all strong points along with fully working 4x4 and a sweet gearbox and clutch. This Defender drives great as it is and will run for years with just regular maintenance and servicing. And you"d be driving an investment - there is now way these are going down in value. We are unable to fly to the US at the moment otherwise we would be doing this restoration in the US now.
