Vehicle description
This is a rare 1988 Jeep Grand Wagoneer. We purchased it 7 years ago from a gentleman in Chicago when it had 85,000 miles. We have put approximately 20,000 miles on it since then. According to the seller, he replaced the motor just prior to our purchase. The motor was manufactured by Gearhead and installed by Douglas Automotive in Crystal Lake, IL. The seller told me that best part of the new motor is that it has modern bearings and oil pump.
Since I am not a mechanic and have limited automotive knowledge, I am directing all questions to our mechanic, Ryan Reddick, who has the car in his possession in Columbia, MO. Ryan can be reached on his cell at or by email at [email protected]. Overall, the Jeep is in excllent condition for it"s age. However, I want to be clear that it is not perfect and our mechanic can share any items that need to be addressed.
The jeep was in a minor fender-bender while it was parked two years ago and all body work was professionally completed by a Jeep dealer in St. Louis. The damage was caused to the driver-side as it was "swiped" by another car. After the body work, the driver side is in perfect condition.
It has been a very fun car and I can"t tell you how many times we have received compliments and offers to buy it. My kids named the Jeep "Wilson" and only ask that you keep his name:) We have another Jeep named "Woodrow" so they wanted to have Woodrow Wilson. Because of travel restrictions, I have been unable to travel to have the car cleaned so please accept my apologies for the photos. Hopefully, you can see beyond this.
Please feel free to reach out to Ryan with any questions. Many thanks.
