Vehicle description
1988 rare LX model, with lots of upgrades. It is a 4x4 with air conditioning, roof rack, body moldings, rear wiper, power windows, grill guard and fog lights. This one owner Trooper title is not clean only because the rims and tires were stolen. This was resolved by installing factory rims that were 100% restore, paint color code and clear coat included. Additionally a set of brand new factory spec size Uniroyal tires were installed.
What"s needed: All power window functions work except the up function passenger side. Might need a slight lifter adjustment, driver"s side seat panel is worn, shocks are needed, rides a bit bumpy, stereo speakers are iffy, carpet shows wear, lower exterior body moldings are not perfect some have rivets added on edges, paint has signs of wear, hood paint and body panels show imperfections.
As indicated in the photos, it l ikely had recent worked performed as indicated on the writing under the hood. The engine stars right up and revs strongly, the manual transmission shifts easily through the gears. Lights, turn indicators, gauges in working order, air condition works.
First generation Trooper are hard to find as the demand increases, the LX model especially. This car does need a few things and the paint is far from stellar. It is a 30 year old vehicle that needs some attention yet it has many positive factors in its favor.
