Vehicle description
1988 Ford Mustang GT Hatchback, 5.0L with a 70MM On3 Performance turbo, 5 speed and T-tops. In 2014 engine was rebuilt and turbo installed by Hurricane Performance in Florida. Five lug conversion done and new Firestone Firehawks just installed.
Paint is driver quality and looks great from 10’ away, a few scratches in the left fender and inside the wheel well of the rear bumper. There is some minor rust below the rear window on the hatch as is common with these cars, no other rust on the car, underside is clean.
Engine runs STRONG! Does have a minor leak from the rear main seal and will drop about a quarter size amount of fluid after parking it. Clutch feels firm but doesn’t have much throw, I do not know if that is by design or if its nearing the end of its life.
A/C does work but only blows through the defroster vents, google tells me its a vacuum line issue but I haven’t had the time to mess with it since its a T-top car I just take them off and enjoy the weather.
Interior is a 6/10, it’s complete, not torn up but it shows some wear and is 33 years old.
Gets compliments everywhere it goes, its damn quick and a fun car, I just don’t have time for it anymore.
