Car has 92k on the clock which I believe to be real mileage. It sat for a decade before I got it and every part I replaced was oem. The car is a great reliable driver. 1988 EXP Luxury, 1.9L 4cyl, 5 Speed manual shift. The following repairs have all been done in the past year: Entire front end rebuilt. - Control arms, outer tie rods (and inner on the driver"s side), ball joints, Struts. New calipers, rotors and pads New rear wheel cylinders, shoes and drums All new soft lines. New rear wheel bearings Passenger front wheel bearing hub New tires Full tune-Up (plugs, wires, cap, rotor, air filter, oil change) Injector disassembled and cleaned, new throttle body gasket. Fresh coolant and thermostat New fuel pump and filter Coolant temp fan switch wired to a physical switch on lower dash area near led indicator board (which means when it gets hot you need to flip the fan on manually.) Sunroof cleaned and metal treated and new seal added
Rear tail lights were disassembled and cleaned. They do NOT match. One of them came from an LN7 and the other is Original. You can see the left one is redder where the Right one is "smoked." I didn"t realize there was a difference til I was done with the work and just never bothered to find another matching one, but they do the job. Needs: Cruise doesn’t work Cosmetics - needs a passenger front fender. Passenger side lower trim is off currently but I have it and it will be included. Tach doesn’t work. Original tape deck works but FM button does nothing so the radio is stuck on either AM or cassette. I did remove the deck and gave it a good bath in contact cleaner and cleaned the tape heads. Shifter knob splines are loose. Needs to be reglued. I just shift carefully.
Overall the car does still have things that need to be worked on but I would absolutely get in it and drive anywhere, any distance. It has been my daily for the past few months but I can"t keep it around anymore.
