Vehicle description
This is a project car and not currently running. The engine will not engage, even after I replaced the starter.
I originally purchased this car as a paint project for an auto body class I was taking at the local community college. The car was purchased from the second owner and hadn"t been driven for at least 15 years. It sat next to his mobile home covered in vines. I towed it home, got it running and took it to the auto paint class. We raise it on the rack at spent the next two hours removing all the dead vines under and inside the engine bay.
I cleaned and restored the interior. The driver and passenger seats were the worse. Replaced the original stereo. All gauges are now in working order. I wasn"t able to paint the car at my class, COVID and all, and painted the car in it"s original Dodge White in my shop at home. That was what I was wanting to learn, anyway. .
During my restoration time on this project: New tires New fuel tank New fuel pump New front sway bars and bushings Rebuilt fuel level sending unit and vent valve New starter The car retains original EMBO rims, which I understand are quite rare.
