Vehicle description
Tough decision, but selling my recently acquired 1988 911 Carrera 3.2 with G50 transmission. A southern car for majority of its life. No rust, no accidents.
The only modification is the Steve Wong chip and WEVO engine mounts. The original chip is included.
No story car with 173k miles and complete detailed records back to new. Drives rock solid with strong power and tight handling. I would have no trepidation driving this car across country as is.
Top end has not been rebuilt and does not show any signs of needing a rebuild. Car does not leak oil, nor does it pour out a bunch of smoke upon cold start.
Needs:
Heater blower needs to be taken apart and lubricated. Not critical as there is plenty of heat by opening the vents.
A/C works well, just needs to be recharged. The compressor is recent. The previous owner reported that the A/C kept up with Charleston, SC heat.
Rear bumper trim will need to be reseated or replaced.
It has spent its life in the south only moving to Maine in August 2019 with previous owner. Car is now in Portland, Oregon.
Clean title.
