Posting for local fire department. 1957 American LaFrance 100" aerial on a 1988 American LaFrance Century chassis. Original 1957 was a 700 series. Truck was recently taken out of service and fully operational as a backup ladder truck. Detroit 6-71 motor. Allison MT-647 4 speed automatic transmission. About 6300 miles on chasis. PTO with high capacity hydraulic pump for stabilizers and aerial. Ladder test 1 year ago. Most equipment does not go with truck. Some of the original wooden ladders and search lights will stay on it. Noted issues: One of the two batteries does not hold a charge if left off the charger. Officers side stabilizer piston has started to weep around the piston. Some rest present on original 1957 through compartments just behind turntable.
