Up for sale I have my Porsche 944 Turbo (aka 951) that was the outcome of a major project by the previous owner. The project stated after previous owner had a track accident at NJMP with his old car (1986 944 turbo) which is the conception. The 1986 frame was bent where previous owner started a search for a new tub. A tub was found from a 1987 where the previous owner began a transplant of moving everything off the 1986 to the 1987 tub. The goal for this car was to have a daily driver that could also be enjoyed at the track and autocross events. The engine was removed to replace the rod bearings. well one thing led to the other and the outcome was every seal, gasket, bearing, replacement. The car is considered historic so NYS inspection always passes. Insurance only costs me $67 a month for full coverage. I acquired this car in 2013 after my old 944 drowned in super storm sandy. The previous owner was NJ PCA member and I am as well. Car has only been to about 5 DE events per year from 2013-2016. The reason I am selling is due to my new job, I haven"t been able to get out to the track the past couple of years. All of the work done by BodyMotion Racing in NJ and other specialty Porsche racing shops. I have a giant binder with all records of work done. Every aspect of this car had been addressed which consists of the following:
