This is a front-engine, rear-wheel-drive model and is fun to drive. The odometer shows 68+k but I"m unsure the accuracy of this since I have only owned it for 2-3 years and the speedometer was broken at the time. The vehicle runs great and is mainly used for weekend drives. Much work has recently been done to the car. It runs well and will make a great car for someone looking to have a cheap Porsche. It has a sunroof, new Clutch and newly rebuilt transmission (3 years ago according to the previous owner), new rear shocks, new 19” wheels and tires, recently polished paint to the entire car.Interior leather is in very good condition considering that the code for the interior is leather (front), with leatherette (rear). Leatherette is just a fancy factory word for Vinyl. The interior looks and smells new. The back seats are in good shape, carpet is in decent condition with new floor mats, and the dash has no cracks. I kept a cover on it to keep it from cracking as seen inthe pictures. AC works fine but needs recharge for colder air, heater workswell. New Double-Dinn radio with GPS Navigation, Bluetooth, DVD (Illegal for use while driving, It just came with the system), SD, and USB. A lot has been done but it still needs a few things to be complete. The following still need to be addressed: The roof seal is new but has a very tight seal and keeps the top from closing correctly. I removed the seal since I do not drive it in the rain and was kept in the garage. I have replaced it for the new owner and for the new owner to decide to replace it or remove it completely. It has a driver’s side cracked tail light barely noticeable. If I were keeping this carI would only replace the headlights for LEDs available at 944only.com among other websites for around $70 and they look original. According to the lastowner, it has a new clutch and rebuilt transmission since it had sat for a longtime. Since purchasing I have only done minor maintenance. Just before I started this auction I have completed the following maintenance: It has a new gas filter, oil change, new performance throttle cam, newly repaired shifter(shifter was very sloppy), New Speedometer sending unit, New inner leather and exterior shift boots (Boots were dry and faded), new rear shocks, polished the paint, new Cat (will pass smog), New 19” wheels (yes, 19”) and new tires and they have plenty of clearance and do not rub. Since the maintenance above was completed I have not driven the car more than 20 miles and then stored it. Take advantage of this opportunity to own a really cool now Classic Porsche 944.
