1987 Porsche 928 S4 Very nice black on black 1987 928 S4 that I’ve owned for almost 9 years. I’m the third owner. I wish I could keep her but we are moving back to Europe. Less than 1,000 miles per year for the past 4 years. I’ve been driving Porsches for over 25 years, this is my third 928 and have two classic air cooled cars as well. She has just over 89k miles recorded and had 82k when I bought her. Unfortunately the odometer stopped working at some time a couple of years ago, probably the plastic gear in the dash that always falls apart. I would estimate there’s no more than 3,000 miles missing based on how little she’s used. I use her for a couple of days every month for a trip along the coast and a run on the freeway to keep her in shape. She comes with a thick folder for all of the work that has been done dating back to 1992 and 41k miles. Timing belt, water pump, rollers and radiator replaced 6 years and 5k Miles ago. Timing belt recently inspected, adjusted and given a clean bill of health along with $1,000 + service that included new distributors and trans fluids. New engine mounts (Volvo) and rebuilt transmission lines in early 2016 (about 3k miles ago). All recent work carried out at Hi Tec Automotive here in Marin County. Sitting on 18 inch turbo twist wheels and Bridgestone Potenzas. I’ve just changed the oil and topped up all the fluids. She has a fresh California smog certificate. Interior in great condition. Seats are in good shape, comfortable and very supportive. Some light cracking around the vents and the pod cover. Momo gear shifter because the original one disintegrated. I will swap the Momo steering wheel out for the original before sale. The toolkit is almost complete, just missing the tow hook. Windows and sunroof work. Interior tailgate release doesn’t work. AC stopped working a couple of years ago, and since I live in coastal Northern California I’ve had no need for it. It was repainted by the previous owner and the paint stands up well. Front and rear bumpers repainted over the last two years due to church parking lot dings (old folks in SUVs that didn"t see the car). Overall a very nice driver that really stands out in a crowd and will be a great investment.
