Vehicle description

1987 Porsche 924S. 143k miles. Sunroof delete. I am the second owner and I bought it with ~46k miles 14 yrs ago. Manufactured 4/86, This an early US model. No collisions/original paint. Known (interesting) history from new with records.
I resealed the engine/restored drivetrain including rod bearings/rings(using the correct Sonnen method)/balance shaft bearings seals/oil cooler/lapped valves and all seals. Rebuilt updated water pump(Zims), new belts/rollers within the past 2200miles. New OEM radiator and hoses/sensors including crank and O2. Porsche factory coolant.Amsoil 20/50 oil. New Sachs clutch kit, rebuilt torque tube with Constantine bearings, reseal transaxle, new axle shafts, rear wheel bearings, parking brake assemblies.Amsoil GL-4 since ownership. All above was done at 119k miles, except more recent belts and water pump. New injectors, fuel pump, dampener, and regulator. New fuel hoses throughout. Upgraded MY88 air flow meter and ECU. 2.7 exhaust manifolds(wrapped)and MY88 exhaust.
Sparco strut brace, and custom lower control arm rear brace. Bilstein HD strut inserts/shocks with weltmeister 200# front springs. 23mm front sway bar with Delrin inner and poly outer bushings. Bracket braces inner. 18mm rear sway bar with poly inner bushings and custom drop links outer. KLA billet top strut bearings. Rebuilt steering rack with fresh hoses. Fresh ball joints and poly control arm bushings Fr/Rr. Zimmerman e-coated brake rotors with Carbon Metallic street pads and DOT steel braided brake hoses. Fresh master cylinder. Fresh clutch hydraulics.
Interior is original. Headliner is excellent, carpet has faded a bit in the rear. Dash has a few cracks, front cloth seats need recovering, but have covers on them now. Rear script seats intact. A few wrinkles in the upper door panels. Passenger side Porsche script door handle. .because I had one laying around. New ignition switch with LED courtesy lights. Hella K-code headlamps. All accessories work including A/C(converted to R134) and heat.
