Finished in light blue over a dark blue leather interior this 911 really stands out. Traveling only 65524 miles since new this Porsche is in exceptionally nice condition. Powered by the legendary 3.2 liter flat six air cooled engine this Porsche runs excellent and pulls strong. The 915 5-speed manual gearbox shifts very well during upshifts and downshifts. The steering brakes and suspension are nice and tight . . and make this Porsche a true pleasure to drive. All accessories are in proper working order including the ice cold air conditioning. The Carrera—priced at $32000—shared most of itsvisual cues with its immediate predecessor but benefited fromadded power and performance as well as other evolutionaryupdates. The chiefupgrade in the Carrera was the larger 3.2-liter flat six enginewhich looked much like that of the 3.0 it replaced but was builtchiefly of all-new parts. One crucial change was an improved timing chain tensioner which had been anissue on previous models. Also new was Bosch Motronic fuel injection which replaced the K-Jetronicsystem of yore. The engine produced 200 horsepower and came mated to a Getrag five-speed manualtransmission. This was enough to propel the Carrera from 0 to 60 mph in about 5.5 seconds.
