I am selling my 1987 Mercury Grand Marquis LS. This is my Christmas miracle car.
Do I want to sell my car? No Do I need to sell my car? Yes, for financial reasons. Car"s name is Hoop-T a/k/a The Beast Daily driver? Yes
For sale is my 1 987 Mercury Grand Marquis LS in very good to excellent condition (minus the paint peeling). The car use to be housed in a garage when I bought it from the original owner. I do not have a garage to store it in so it is outside where the elements take control. The odometer says 49000. I believe this accurate based on the following: Interior is exceptional good for the age, body has no dents. It was a one owner when we got it a couple years ago. It was owned by an elderly lady who kept it in a garage most of the time.
I do have some oil change paperwork that shows that in 2015 it had 45,214 miles on it. We bought it at an auction so did not get to talk to the owner.
It has power windows, locks, seats, tilt, AC works, we had to put a new starter on it this summer along with a new Battery. It has two very good tires with new like tread, Two are about 1/4 tread.
She rides smooth as it was intended. It"s a daily driver, but short distance, so miles are not racking up. The paint has started to peel off the trunk and some on the top (see photos). The left front lower fender is showing some surface rust and missing a small piece of trim. Cash only, no trades.
