| “More of a fixer upper. Has a pretty severe rear main seal(I think) leak, Bad ABS Sensor. However, starts right up even in freezing weather, shifts like it's supposed to on the open road. 1983 Mercedes 300TD The Good: · Starts right up even in the freezing cold · Engine runs fine · Trans shifts good · 3 rd Row Seat The Bad · Bad rear main seal leak · Overly sensitive ABS system( the antilock comes on as soon as to push on the brakes) · Scratches and dents here and there…see pics · Covering coming off interior pillar As the story goes… Bought the car as a project. It sat for about 6 months as a non runner before I acquired. It was parked because it wouldn’t start and the driver gave up on it(After he ruined the starter). I swapped out the starter and all 6 of the copper injector pump inlet line washers and orings. After priming for what seemed to be an eternity, she finally caught and has been starting right up ever since.
