Selling my 1987 Jaguar XJS I purchased this car from an exotic car restorer 4 years ago with the intent of completing the work he started.I never had any intention of selling it. Unfortunately, I do not have the time to continue the work needed and I need the garage space.
Tires are in great shape, leather is in excellent shape, wood on the dash is great, headliner is great, carpeting is slightly stained in spots but nothing out of the ordinary.All glass and chrome are perfect.
The body has only one small (about 1 inch) rust hole in the driver"s side front fender right behind the wheel.
The hood has a quarter sized ding. The trunk lid has some faded or worn paint.
Minor oil leaks from Engine oil pan, transmission oil pan and half moon seal on the valve cover passenger side. New radio and speakers. The engine runs smooth and starts right up.
Gets oil changes on time. It will need brakes all around as they are starting to squeak.
This car has always been garaged and rarely driven in the rain or snow. The under body is solid with no rust, the exhaust is in great shape. The passenger side window didn"t always roll down, might just be a bad switch, but I"m not sure.
I really do love the car, but for the right buyer I can part with it at a fair price
This car was listed once already and the buyer stopped communicating so the sale wasn"t completed.
