1987 FORD MUSTANG LX 5.0 HATCHBACK
Really clean and great looking foxbody mustang. Not much left to do other than enjoy and cruise around in her. Good paint, great looking SC Rims and Tires on her and a very clean and simple interior. . Will list as much as I can recall that has gone into the restoration over the past couple months to give the new owner a worry free solid mustang. .
Exterior: Paint is Smoke Gray, not White. . (Factory color) Saleen Wing - also comes with the LX wing if you"d rather swap them out Shorty Antenna 18" SC Wheels - 18x10 Rear
Interior: New Front and Rear Black Carpet New Bucket Seats with blue stitching to tie in the blue interior New Chrome Bezels and Chrome Window Cranks New weatherstripping all around Factory radio that works
Engine: Fresh Fluids: Oil, Trans & Coolant including filters Rear Main and Front Trans Seal A/C Works, recent service 3 Core Aluminum Radiator New Fan Clutch New 160* Thermostat New MSD Cap, Coil, Wires and Motorcraft Plugs New Gas Tank, Fuel Pump and Sending Unit - (gas gauge still doesn"t register, needs new gauge in cluster) New Oil Sending Unit New Front Brake Lines New Rear Shocks New Flowmaster Mufflers BBK Longtube Headers and Straight Pipe Cold Air Intake 75MM Throttle Body and Spacer
I"m sure there are other odds and ends that I may be missing but these are the main highlights. There are some factors that do need attention to make the car PERFECT but nothing that takes away from the value or the Stang being solid.
Issues: Fuel Gauge not working as mentioned above. Couple of paint chips, Nothing crazy as you can tell from pics if even noticeable. . New Seats are in but only 3 of the 4 stock bracket bolts are in due to not lining up properly, I have new racing brackets and sliders that go with the car for the new owner to play with or take to fab shop to make perfect. When your sitting in the seat and have it set where you need it, it"s a non-issue, just pointing out since one can"t tell unless in person. .
Rear seat not installed but comes with the car. . Also have the rear hatch sun shade that goes with the car, just never put back in since I did the rear hatch carpet. .
