Vehicle description

 (877) 399-3176 (877) 399-3176 1987 Ford Bronco II Eddie Bauer Exterior Color: Black Interior Color: Tan Body Type: SUV Transmission: 4-Speed Automatic Drivetrain: 4WD Fuel Type: Gasoline Fuel Engine: V6 Cylinder Engine 2.9L/177 Mileage: 39,526 All vehicle trades considered including classics and performance. We can assist with financing and transport as needed. This 1987 Ford Bronco II is about as nice as they come. It is in remarkable condition throughout, looking nothing like a 34-year-old SUV. And having spent three decades in North Carolina, it has stayed clear of the snow and salt that can lead to the demise of all things steel. In addition to being such a well preserved specimen, this one is also the top-of-the-line Eddie Bauer edition with four wheel drive. Introduced in 1984, the Bronco II is from an era before the SUV became a mainstream vehicle (even the Explorer did not come out until 1990). By taking the Ranger platform and combining off-road capability with everyday practicality, it helped launch the compact SUV segment. This one looks very sharp with its two-tone paint and 15” alloy wheels, hallmarks of the Eddie Bauer package. It also has a sunroof, luggage rack, flip-open rear window, and swingaway spare tire carrier. The Bronco II is powered by a 2.9L V6 with multiport electronic fuel injection, while the transmission is Ford’s 4-speed automatic overdrive setup. The 4WD is engaged through a manual transfer case and locking hubs. The front suspension uses Ford’s Twin-Traction Beam design to give this 4x4 an improved ride quality over larger solid axle models. It also has also power steering and power brakes with front discs and rear antilock. The interior is in excellent condition as well, starting with the bucket seats adorned in Eddie Bauer trim. The dashboard offers a very clean layout while the wooden accents give a rich feel. Gauges, indicators, horn, wipers, lights, heater, cruise control – everything works properly. This includes the factory air conditioning. In today’s world you see an SUV at every intersection. This Bronco II represents one of their ancestors, albeit in much nicer condition some 5-year-old models I’ve seen. It’s compact size means it will fit in any garage while its crisp lines make it stand out from modern offerings. Vehicle Description All vehicle trades considered including classics and performance.
