“This vehicle was running well in 2006 when I backed it into the back yard and took out the battery. I have not attempted to turn over the motor since 2006. I removed the front wheels later to use the tires on another vehicle, but the 4 original steel wheels are included in the sale. Rust is showing on the outside behind and in front of the rear wheels. Rust is also showing to the left of the rear hatch. The interior needs a headliner, but is in pretty good shape otherwise.I have not been able for about the last year to get the rear hatch open. The release button is pushed in, but will not come back out. I have had trouble with it before, but was always able to jiggle the button enough to get it to release the latch. I have not yet tried to get inside the rear compartment to attempt to dismantle it from the inside. The locks and latches on the two front doors are operable.” |

Vehicle description
This item is a 1987 Dodge Ramcharger, 360 cubic inch V8, 3-speed auto transmission, 4wd, 93,000 mi. It was running very well with no issues when I parked it in the back yard in about 2006. I had bought a pickup that got a lot better gas mileage and had quit using this Dodge (10 mpg). I intended to sell the Dodge but never got around to it. I am the second owner and bought it in 1996 from the original owner, which was the company I worked for. It was fleet maintained by the company. No internal drive-train work has ever been done on it.
