* Vehicle is for sale in other venues and auction can be cancelled at anytime * Note: I have many more pictures 50+ that I can email or text upon request A virtual time capsule 1987 Chrysler Conquest TSi (aka Mitsubishi Starion ESI-R) tastefully finished in Eiger silver contrasting nicely over burgundy leather. Flawless all original factory paint on body panels, VIN tags, no accidents, dents or dings. This Conquest remains in stock factory configuration and inclusive of the only two factory options available of leather interior and sunroof.
This is a one owner car still on original title that took me over two years to find an example of this caliber. The vehicle was bought new as a 1987 leftover on 3/11/88 from Kimberly Motors of Davenport Iowa as a 40th birthday gift. I acquired the vehicle in August of 2017 to add to my collection as I drove one of these during my college years and was one of my favorite cars of all time! I am an absolute perfectionist with all my vehicles and spent countless hours focusing on every single detail that is listed and displayed for you in the pictures. Inclusive of this extreme attention to detail is the undercarriage and engine bay, as I believe they are equally important as the exterior, interior and updated maintenance. I am confident there are few and far between in this condition and continue to skyrocket in value with the latest sales on Bring a Trailer as a reference below one at $27K and one at $31K.

1987 Overview The 1987 Conquest TSi has an awful lot going for it, the Conquest was powerful and fast (for the time) with excellent handling, superb brakes and enormous character especially in the wide body versions. The Conquest was one of the sportiest Japanese coupes of the 1980’s and has aged quite gracefully. These sport coupes had many plush standard features, including full analog instrumentation (including a boost gauge), automatic climate control, power windows, mirrors and door locks, cruise control and a six-speaker cassette stereo system with a graphic equalizer and remote buttons on the steering wheel hub. External standards included bumper-mounted fog-lamps and a rear window washer/wiper. Their well-bolstered, multi-adjustable front seats (leather upholstery optional) which were excellent. The power mirrors gained a heating function and a new theft-deterrent system for 1987. Engine Type: I-4, SOHC, three valves per cylinder, dual counter-rotating balance shafts, cast-iron block and alloy head, turbocharger and intercooler, 2,555cc (156 cubic inches) Horsepower: 188 @ 5,000 rpm Torque: 223-234-lbs.ft. @ 2,500 rpm Induction system: Twin-injector multi-point electronic fuel injection Production Numbers 1987: 17,607
