Hello eBay, Selling an all original survivor, 2 owner, 1987 Chevrolet Silverado V10 Classic Candy Apple Red. This sweetheart came from rural Kentucky and she is rust free, original paint with very nice patina as you can see in the pics. Original miles @ 36000 as stated in the clear title. Also have original order sheet, maintenance records.
Interior:
All original untouched, original everything, from floor mats to sliding rear-window. Everything works, gauges, radio, inter-mitten wipers, cruise-control, clock, even the dual fuel tanks with fuel gauge for each. You can switch between fuel tanks without hesitation and see the fuel gauge adjust for each tank. The only thing that does not work properly is the oil gauge which works intermittently.
Exterior:
Again, rust-free, original paint. Clear coat is starting to peel off as expected from an untouched truck of that era. All chrome trim, bumpers and bumper guards are in excellent shape and original to the truck. Very nice patina showing on the hood and roof. Cab rockers are in excellent condition. Original owner had a bed-liner that I took off to take pictures of the bed. But as you can see is in excellent condition, no rust or holes. Bed-liner is included with the truck.
Mechanical:
She is sporting the very much desirable original 350 TBI, original transmission with OD that works excellent. I drove her from Kentucky to Colorado, that"s 1100 miles without an issue, she is truly a champion that did not get used a lot. 4x4 engages flawlessly both high and low. Zero oil leaks and I mean zero. Bone dry underneath! It"s very hard to find a 1987 truck like this anymore. Mostly all that I"ve found are modified.
All in all a very nice truck to leave as is to enjoy the good old trucks or to turn it into your dream truck.
