Vehicle description
This auction offers my 1987 Chevrolet Silverado 4x4 Shortbed for sale. It is factory black with mostly original paint. It shows exceptionally well and gets more attention than my muscle cars. The original fuel-injected V8 has 90,700 miles and runs extremely well . . . I drive it often. All of the suspension was just rebuilt by a professional shop, and service included brand new BF Goodrich tires and Warn hubs. Runs, shifts, drives well without issues. AC blows very cold, heat works great. I had the original digital radio professionally rebuilt and it works great. Dual exhaust has just the right tone.
I am describing the truck as accurately as possible. To that end, please note that whereas the paint is very good, there is some clear coat fading in spots as you would see on original paint, including on the cab roof. Driver"s side arm rest shows wear but a new arm rest is included. Door/window weatherstripping shows wear, but I have a brand new complete set of weatherstripping and window felts that come with the truck. Truck bed has been used but there are no dents or issues. I have an original set of factory shortbed bed rails that go with the truck if you like that look (I do!). Original driver"s seat shows wear consistent with mileage. Passenger"s cab corner has a bit of rust but that"s the only spot on the truck. Truck has factory dual fuel tanks, I"ve only used the driver"s side so passenger"s tank condition is unknown.
I have a clear Virginia title in my name ready for the new owner. Check my feedback and you will see that I am a solid seller. Trucks are the fastest appreciating sector of collector vehicles and these square body shortbed trucks are top on that list. Get one before you get priced out of the market.
