About this vehicle This 1987 Chevrolet R10 is an original. The owner has had it for 2 years. The vehicle runs great. Seller"s Notes This is all around an excellent classic truck. It is very solid and would be a great truck with excellent bones for a show piece or enjoy as is as its an original. Being a one-year only engine This truck will always carry its value. Vehicle Details Up for no reserve auction is a 1987 R10 2wd Silverado stepside . Powered by original 5.7 350 throttle body injection engine with 700R4 overdrives transmission . It runs and drives excellent. Only 149k actual miles . What’s nice about this truck it is 99% rust free and still wears its original paint. There are some scratches , chips etc little damage on passenger front fender . I elected not to have this truck painted being its an original survivor . Also never been lowered or altered . New BFG TA tires on factory wide rally’s wheels . Notice original uniroyal spare . The wood bed was recently redone as it was showing some age . Definitely a nice upgrade. I also wanted to add an old school Tonneau cover with snaps but elected not to drill holes on the bed. Anyways I think you get the point here. At least 90% of these trucks had a 5.0 L engine. The 350 engine is very rare on a fully loaded Silverado especially in red. Everything works on this truck with the exception of the air conditioning. Interior Interior is in excellent condition. Very minimal fade. I took a seat cover off that has been on since New one year ago. Truck has power windows Power locks, ac , tilt , cruse control , All around a very sanitary interior . . Engine Real 5.7 350 truck . TBI all intact . Truck runs and drives excellent and starts easy .
