BARN FIND! ! 1987 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS T-Top Aerocoupe 90K Miles. Hello, up for sale is a 1987 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS T-TOP Aerocoupe with 90K Miles. This is a very rare car, there were only 6052 Made and and only fraction that had a T-Top with Aerocoupe. This car was sitting a barn for just about 10 years or close to it. The previous owner wanted to do a full make over on the car but unfortunately fell ill some years back. The Title has been misplaced and the family can not find it, He used to have a auto repair-parts business and it was sold so a lot of the paper work is gone. The car will come only with a bill of sale. But alot of states will let you acquire title with photos of car-vin and bill of sale due to the age of this car, You will need to check with your state of course. If all else fails I was told a couple of days ago about a company in TN that can do all the paperwork and title for these older vehicles. It is $300 plus a couple of months of time. But that is 100% up to the buyer I can only pass a phone number on. The family is not interested dealing with any of that they just want the car sold and the Barn space back. CAR DETAILS- The car has not been run or started in close to 10 years. We did check and see the engine is not locked up, There are few interior panels that are off and in the car, The car is in need of a major clean. The undercarriage seems very sold with no major rot or anything like that. There is actually still some factory undercoat showing and of course some light surface gm oxidation but overall in great shape. The body does need some rehab from years of sitting. What you see in the pictures is what you get. It has not been cleaned or washed. The body does seem very sold though with a minor bubble or blister here or there expect to do some body work. This car would be a great Project-Parts car or you might be able to clean it up and get it running and drive around as-is. That is all up to the buyer. We do have the keys for the car.
