Vehicle description

Vehicle Details Up for auction is a gem from my small car collection, 1 1987 Camaro IROC in hard to find metallic blue and a 5-speed t-top car! This is also a car loaded with the top of the line 1SC option package and G92 Performance package! I hate to sell it but I need to reduce my collection. The previous owner had it repainted in the original color around 2016 and it’s a very nice job ($5500) though not a $10,000 job but presents excellently. The decals were also new at that time. The tires are new and in the correct factory size. The exhaust is a new factory style replacement. The AC was charged two years ago (R12) and still blows cold. I had reproduction seats covers (front and back) sewn out of real GM NOS date coded correct fabric from 1987 sewn by Princess at Lethal Interiors as she specializes in reproducing third-gen F-Body seat covers. Her work is second to none and she’s a wonderful person to boot. The seat foams were also replaced at that time and the seats feel fantastic and supportive, not like 30+ year old broken down foam. The front seat belts were also replaced with GM NOS seat belts so they are crisp and clean. Lastly, other interior spruce ups were refurbishment of the steering wheel (re-wrapped) in the correct color and style of leather as well as the shifter ball. Both look as new and perfect matches in style, color, etc to the originals. Google “Chuck Pelton” for reviews if his awesome work. The carpet is new throughout including the hatch area. The floor mats are new and are the correct contoured mats in the correct color to perfectly match the carpet. The headliner is also new. Other interior renovations are replacement of the cruise turn signal stalk to replace the worn lettering as well as the power window and hatch switches on the console for the same reason. Only area requiring attention would be at some point changing the valve seals as it does give a wiff of blue smoke on startup only as all old Chevy small blocks do, Otherwise, it makes no strange noise, leaks nothing and is dead reliable and can be driven anywhere. All accessories work of course – lights, horn, turn signals, etc . I even replaced the belts in the cassette player!Summary – this is a very hard to find, very sought after combo with the very best options and in great condition. Try finding another blue one like this as it took me years to find this one. Bid to win. Winning bidder to pay $500 deposit within 48 hours and fund the remainder of the purchase within 10 days by electronic wire transfer. Other forms of payment MUST clear my bank before the car leaves my possession – no exceptions. It’s stored in my locked, heated and alarmed pole barn where it will remain while in my possession. I‘m easy to work with and will help with transportation by being available to meet your transporter who you must arrange. I can also spot a scammer a mile away so don’t even try.
