Vehicle description
Hello, up for bid is my 1987 Buick Regal T-Type. It’s a dark maroon/cherry color with no rust and T-Tops. The 86-87 Buick Regal T-Types are one of the most desired models since they are intercooled, unlike previous years. This Regal has had several upgrades done to it by the previous owner such as Vacuum brake booster conversion, Cat back stainless steel ATK exhaust, rebuilt turbo, and forged internals (I have not taken off the oil pan to verify this though), Crane cam, adjustable fuel pressure regulator, and a performance chip. The car really gets up and I really wanted to keep it, paint it black, and make a GNX clone, but since I live in the communist state of California where cars (1975 and up) that make up less than 5% of all cars on the road still have to conform to the tree huggers clean air act, she got replaced by a pre-smog project and needs to find a new home. This Regal is originally from upstate New York and will come with a title which reflects so. The original owner included a folder and thumb drive with all the information on mods and servicing which I will also give to the winning bidder. I’m not looking for a fortune for the car, just what is fair. Some of the things which will need to be addressed are: Two spots on the hood where oxidation has started, the driver’s seat has a small tear as does the passenger seat, the T-tops leak a little (as do all GM T-tops cars ever built), the rear view mirror fell off, it has a high speed Kenwood stereo that worked before, but once I turned it off, it folded the face in and will not open again. The remote that powers the head unit probably has gone bad due to battery corrosion, but I’m not a electrical expert. The original owner replaced the odometer because the original had stopped working. According to the previous owner, original millage was about 115,000. I’ve probably put about 3500 miles on it and changed the oil while adding Lucas oil stabilizer recently. As an added bonus, I will include a black 87 plastic grille and trunk wing with end caps that will need to be painted. Remember this is an over 30 year old car and won’t run like a new car from a dealership. It is what it is and that’s what it is, no more, no less. I will be listing the car locally so I have the right to end the auction at any time. If you need more pictures, send me a message and tell me what photos you want so I can send them. ONLY If the buy it now is used, I will pay for shipping by open carrier to your verified address as long as you live in the contiguous 48 states, if not, shipping is paid by the buyer. No international buyers. $500 Paypal deposit required within 48 hours of winning the bid. Remainder is to be paid by wire transfer or certified bank check no later than one week after auction closes. If payment is made by check, vehicle will be shipped once the check clears. listings aren’t free so don’t waste my time or yours, with that being said, Thank you for looking.
