Vehicle description
1987 Mercury Grand Marquis for sale. I am the 2nd owner of this classic car and have taken very good care of it. It has been my baby for the last 8 years. I have every service record!
This was a Florida car that never saw winter. I brought it to the Northeast and kept it in a garage each winter, only driving it in the summer and mostly on road trips so it"s got mostly highway miles. I have the original owner"s manual and hub cap keys.
The improvements I"ve made to the vehicle are numerous, but to name a few details:
- new tires - new brakes - radiator flushed annually - newer battery - new stereo - freon re-charge every year - new soft plugs - new heater core - new alternator - newer power steering pump
The only main component that does not work is the heat, but my mechanic (Dewey"s Garage in Fairport, NY) advises it is just a vacuum pump that needs to be replaced. I never did it because it was never driven in the winter.
I love this car and hate to see it go, but I bought a new truck and can"t store it anymore in my garage. Car is sold as-is, but I have listed it in good faith and am happy to answer any questions you may have. All service records will be provided. There is a lot of life left in this car and it is sure to turn heads!
