1987 Mercedes-Benz 300TD TDT in Desert Taupe. This is a canadian market car, so speedometer and odometer read in kilometers. Currently just over 233,000km. This translates to around 145,000 miles. Car is equipped with power windows and sunroof, power front seats, self-leveling suspension in the rear, rearward facing third row seats for the kids, has Cocomats and a Weather Tech rear cargo area liner.
Car has over $20,000 in documented service since my purchase in 2017. While it was in NY, worked on by legendary Rheinland Motors who rebuilt entire self-leveling suspension. Car drives very smooth and solid. Brakes well. Turbo spools up and delivers excellent power. Steers very true. Little smoke on cold-starts, as normal. Very solid Mercedes experience.

Car will be a project, sold as-is, due to the following: leak. It has been parked outdoors for the past year or more which was probably not the best for it. Now, the passenger footwell gets wet in storms. Checked all sunroof and engine bay drains and the drain from the evaporator and have not been able to locate the source. Likely it"s a rust issue either in the right side rocker or just forward of the firewall. Checked under battery and seems dry there. Replaced windshield twice, no change to leak. Paint is showing flaking clear coat around rear quarter panels and passenger side front door seems like it has been repainted. Some rust visible at door trim piece. Leak has corroded some of the wire harness beneath the passenger seat. This was partially repaired but there are still some lights in the center console that don"t turn off with the rest of them. Last summer an SUV backed into the front driver headlight while parked causing me to replace it with upgraded Depo lights.
My next step, were I to keep it, would be repainting with associated body work to repair leak, and addressing leather seat upholstery.
Other notes: Motor has a #14 head casting. Outdoor breathable car cover is included. Have three rear seat headrests not pictured but which will be included.
