I’m selling a 1986 Toyota 4Runner SR5 4WD. There’s rust just starting in a few areas on the body, the frame is in good shape and aren’t any cracks or holes in it whatsoever. It actually still has some of the black frame coating. As for the interior it’s in excellent shape as you can see by the photos. It also has the factory altimeter still mounted on the dash. Running and driving wise, this thing is amazing, it’s very smooth and responsive, the motor idles with no shakes or hesitation. The heat works great, 4wd high and low work perfectly, the manual locking hubs turn freely and easily by hand. The tires are brand new 31x10.5s and ride very comfortably. It also has a factory sunroof and power windows, cruise control works, rear window works, clutch start cancel works. Literally everything on this truck still operates as it should. Some recent work that has been done: - Fresh oil and filter change - New battery - New front pads and rotors - New plugs - New wires - New distributor cap and rotor - Fresh coolant - New tires
The only negative I could possibly think of regarding this 4Runner would be that I’ve noticed that the clutch has started to slip slightly especially in lower gears. It’s very hard to notice unless you accelerate aggressively. It still drives perfect, I still use it as one of my daily drivers to get to work. It’s just something to think about for the future and I would like to be totally transparent. Other than that you will absolutely love this truck, I encourage anyone to come see it and drive it.
