Vehicle description

1986 Porsche 944 Odo replaced at 93k miles .ODO does work. Mileage is not actually as PO waited a couple thousand miles before fixing. Daily driven the last year and a half. Many upgrades and new parts. Koni adjustable shocks. After market exhaust. Performance chip and solid state DME relay. Bought this car two years ago and drove it back from Colorado. Have a huge stack of receipts and a PPI from when I bought it showing strong and even compression. Have a box of new parts and folder of receipts. Starts right up and drives well. No leaks.
What it needs:
Battery is dead from sitting this winter
Driver seat won"t adjust front and back, I have new seat tracks for it.
A rebuilt steering rack was installed a couple years ago but needs seals as PO used the wrong fluid. I also have a PS pump rebuild kit.
Please email with questions or pic requests.
Here are the notes from my PPI in April 2016:
Hi Mark, Mark here from Autowerks East with a quick report on a red 1986 Porsche 944. Very clean and mechanically solid car. Compression test very solid and what we would look for at 130 psi, 125, 125 and 130. Obviously well maintained, looks like newer power steering rack. No leaks from the usual suspects like the oil cooler to engine block gaskets. Seepage noted and rear differential output seals. 3 or 4 body issues I"m sure you"ve sen in pictures, worst on l/r quarter panel. Cigarette burn hole passenger seat bottom, otherwise interior much above average. Very nice running and driving car with easy starts and good performance. This is the nicest 944 we"ve seen in several years.
Notes from previous owner:
New clutch, rod bearings and oil pan seal approx 2008.
All vacuum lines replaced with silicone lines and AOS replaced.
