Vehicle description
My 1986 Porsche 944 N/A with 152,900 miles on it. The clutch was changed with a Sachs 61k miles ago and still feels great. The timing belt, balance shaft belt, rollers, tensioners, front belts and water pump all changed 21K ago. Incredible service history dating back to the 90’s on this car. Nearly $20,000 in service receipts. The A/C has been converted to R-134A and blows Ice cold. CV Axels were changed 7k ago. Fuel pump and fuel filter changed 2k miles ago. Drilled and slotted brakes all the way around changed out 10k ago and have plenty of life left. It has Koni Yellow Adjustable sport shocks that feel great. The rod bearings were changed out 36k ago. The fuel lines were also changed out with Lindsey Racing lines 10k ago. The rear hatch has been resealed, which is a common problem with these cars. The car is my daily driver until the salt is put down for winter. The car is garage stored. The exhaust on the car is a Magna-flow Sport Exhaust (cat-back). Alpine stereo with Focus speakers front and rear. Round throttle cam replacement. F9Tech solid state DME, which is more reliable for these cars. The vacuum tubers were replaced with the silicone vacuum lines. The sunroof works perfectly and has no leaks. All systems are in working order to the best of my knowledge, besides cruise control. I have not investigated that problem as I don"t normally use cruise. The paint overall is decent, not showroom but still looks good for 34 years. The drivers side seat manual adjustment handle needs to be replaced, but the electronic controls function. The car has been on several road trips and has always been reliable. I’ve owned the car for just over 2 years and it has been a blast to drive. This is one of the best examples I have owned. All of the service records along with the owners manuals and both sets of keys (including valet) will be included in with the car. Original spare, jack, and tools are in the car. Unfortunately my 928 and 931 are in need of some engine work and since I haven’t been driving this one as much, I’ve decided to part ways and let someone else enjoy this magnificent machine. If you have any questions or need more pictures please contact me before the end of the action. I will also be able to assist in shipping or arranging for the winning bid to pick it up.
