Vehicle description
1986 Pontiac Grand Prix 2+2 Aerocoupe
For sale 1986 Pontiac 2+2. One of only 1,225 built to satisfy the nascar rulebook in ‘86. New shocks, new tires, new discs & calipers front & rear, professional carb rebuild. Newer dual exhaust (receipts for carb & exhaust over $2k). Trunk & floor pans are super clean (see photos). Interior & exterior are reflective of a 32yr old car that has not been detailed or polished up. Looks to have had a new coat of paint in its past (It’s a fair job but certainly not show quality). Some small chips and dings that are hard to show in the pics. Odometer reads 06,914. Some light surface rust underneath, that’s it. Must have been kept out of the elements most of it"s life.
Things that need tlc: pwr door locks, A/C, engine belts, passenger door hinge, radio (out of car in a box), centercap clips, antenna grommet, drivers door interior handle, front windshield (cracked). (i"ve never tested the A/C system). These are relatively small things, but wanted to list them all.
original "build sheet", and a few documents/sales slips from previous owners included in sale.
A good car, & there’s no crazy reserve here. I"ve enjoyed getting it back on the road and going cruising, but time for it to find a permanent home. Feel free to contact me with any questions or additional photos. T hanks.
