Vehicle description

About this vehicle This 1986 Pontiac Fiero is an original. The owner has had it for 1 year. The vehicle runs great and is mainly used for weekend drives. Seller"s Notes Selling as is with no warranty expressed or implied. I am not a mechanic and have described this to the best of my ability. If you have questions, please ask! Clear Ohio title in hand and I can help with notarization. Vehicle Details Hate to do this because I likely won’t find another for awhile, but I’m parting with my 1986 Fiero GT. I’m losing the garage space due to a home addition and this is too nice to live outside, plus I won’t have time for it. These are getting hard to find in nice shape (at least in Ohio) and I want to see it go to a good home! This was listed and sold a couple of months ago, but the winning bidder didn’t realize it was a manual and asked to cancel. So here it is again…… The good: - 2.8 V6/4 speed with 112k - BRAND NEW clutch with paperwork: clutch, pressure plate, throw out bearing, transmission shift arm, clutch master cylinder and slave cylinder, along with clutch pedal and bushings - Brand new distributor, pick up, control module cap and rotor - Brakes done last winter - Shocks and struts have about 10k miles on them - Sits on Eibach ride height lowering springs (.8 inch) - 17” Motegi Racing wheels - About 6k miles on Toyo Extensa HP2 tires (225/45/17 front and 225/50/17 rear) - New Rodney Dickman high flow cat and Spintech muffler - Headlight motor relay replaced, both work fine - Solid frame and cradle - Aftermarket Kenwood radio (I have the original) The ok: - Interior shows wear but is complete and decent shape for 35 years old. The drivers seat is the worst (lower cushion and side bolster). - Headliner is missing - Minor chips and imperfections in the paint, mostly on the nose/hood and around the sunroof - AC compressor seems to kick on but I can’t find any evidence that it was ever converted to 134. Probably need to plan on that at least if AC is important - If it’s parked for a few days, it’ll drip a little oil (about nickel sized). Never bothered me enough to track it down; given the age I keep a close eye on the oil anyway. Overall, this is a great driver with excellent bones and mechanicals. It’s certainly not perfect or a concours car, but is not at all out of place at local shows or Cars and Coffee. Fires right up and runs/drives/shifts/stops as it should. It’s a head turner that attracts a lot of attention. Great sound & rumble out of the high flow cat and aftermarket muffler. Fieros are getting lots of attention at the moment - check this out if you’re looking for a nice example! Thanks for looking. Exterior Interior Engine Download the Motors app
