| “The paint job is not original. Looks like someone did a touch up job at some point. My next exterior projects would’ve been to strip the wood grain and have it sanded and repainted. There are some paint imperfections and as you can see the wood grain is in rough shape. Small area near the gas filler inlet where some gas leaked out and caused the paint to bubble.This car was purchased in western NC by a small company and I still have the original paperwork showing the factory rust proofing and maintenance records through the first 11 years (161,000) miles. This car was well cared for! The owner before me was near Columbia, SC. I’m closer to the East coast, but it’s been garage kept and never driven on the beach. All of this to say it does not have any noticeable body rust.” |
