Up for sale is a True Time Capsule! 1986 Chevrolet El Camino in mint condition with the 305 V8 and Automatic transmission! This is a 3 owner/NO ACCIDENT truck, and has to be the cleanest El Camino out there, with no exaggeration! It has a clean clear title with only 93k miles on the clock and only 90k miles on the title! This truck has been babied, always kept in doors, in a heated and cooled shop. It has been regularly maintained, cleaned, washed, and vacuumed. It is 100% stock, and always adult driven. It"s been in the same family it"s entire life, passed on to 3 generations!
Mechanical: Oil and filters changed regularly, engine runs as well as it did back in 1986 ! There are no drips coming from the bottom of the truck, no oil consumption, and has no check engine lights or dash warning lights on. It does not puff any kind of smoke, even starting up for the first time after awhile. It turns over and fires right up! It has been regularly driven over the years so that problems do not develop. If ever something needed done, it was fixed the right way. Again, it is as close to stock as you are going to get. The only things changed on it are tires(they are new), belts, hoses, water pump, A/C 134 conversion, and alternator. Engine and transmission operate perfectly with no strange noises or leaks. The transmission shifts great! Steering feels very tight going down the road, as well as the suspension, it truly rides like a Cadillac! . This is a tight truck, and doesn"t have the rattles you hear in many of the El Caminos on the road today. The ride is VERY smooth and comfortable! This is a truck that could be hopped into immediately and driven across the U.S. without any problems what so ever.
Interior: This El Camino has cold A/C, great heat, and has not been smoked in. It still smells like it did brand new! There are no cracks or chips in the glass or dash! The seats and carpet are in perfect shape with NO STAINS OR WEAR.
Body: This truck is as close as you are going to get to a perfect 1986 Chevrolet! This is the ORIGINAL PAINT AND BODY with no damage or repairs! The body is exceptionally clean, much like the bottom of it. This was not used as a work truck. You will see that like the body, the bed of the El Camino is also RUST FREE. This is a true time capsule, and they are getting very hard to find! Especially those that have not been hacked up or mistreated.
