Vehicle description
ZARAA6698G1007668 $24,500 OBO Seattle, WA
Nero (black) over dark pinstripe velour interior. ~121k miles. Full mechanical refresh by Prova Motorsports, no expense spared. Restored from bare shell in 2012 with near perfect period correct velour interior. Drives, handles, and sounds every bit like it should.
Final year of the Giugiaro-inspired GTV6. Complete with a sportier final drive and that sweet, sweet, Busso V6. Completely stock except an Ansa rear section muffler, a Pioneer stereo and four aftermarket speakers (not that you’ll need them). I purchased this car in 2020 from Tobin Motorworks in upstate NY, and had it shipped cross-country to Seattle. The car had been previously restored from a bare shell in 2012 by Mid-Century Motoring, also in NY.
430 photos - oldest photos shown first. Mid-Century > Tobin Motorworks > my own. Some of my receipts - showing major services
For the new owner, I did almost everything mechanical, so whatever you may wonder about, it has likely been addressed. I drive my cars like they are meant to, so I need them to be up to the task and well-maintained. Here is an abbreviated list of work done by Prova, since October 2020: Drivetrain Timing belt & tensioner, cam seals, distributor drive seal, front crankshaft seal, water pump, thermostat, valve cover gaskets, air intake hose NOS coolant tank, radiator hot tanked and pressure tested, all new radiator hoses Cap, rotor, plugs, wires, CIS fuel relay Valve adjustment Oil change, brake fluid flush, transaxle service Suspension Polyurethane castor bushings, R&R inner and outer tie rods Adjustable Koni Sport shocks, front and rear (4) Yokohama Advan Fleva V701, 205/55R15 tires Alignment
Paint is remarkably clean - a sincere, “you have to see it to believe it” quality. Car is free of scrapes and dents, and no tin-worm eating this example.
All currently known flaws: Power mirrors non-functional Rear tire well has small hole near grommet, seemingly from road debris 2nd gear synchro grind when cold (like every Alfa of this vintage)
