Vehicle description
1985 Chevrolet Suburban Silverado with front quad shock for sale. This Suburban is in excellent condition for its age and has only 56’000 miles. This vehicle was sitting for about 8 years and a dealer bought it out of an estate sale in OR. It comes with the original hand book. It has the 350 cid engine and the TH700R4 transmission. The interior is in perfect condition and the body is rust free, check out the pictures from the underbody, absolutely no rust. It looks as the Suburban was repainted with original paint a few years back, not perfect, more like a dealer paint. They put on new moldings but they fell off and there are some glue residue which I was not able to get rid of yet. I put a lot of new parts into that Suburban because it was sitting for a while and I wanted to keep this but with these gas prices I cannot afford to drive it anymore. All new tires BG Goodrich (32) Spare tire is an older 31 tire. Brakes are all 90% all around New Ball joints up front New U-joints rear shaft New U-joints front drive axles New U-joint front shaft U-joint still good but have new parts to go with it All front bearing repacked including inner shaft bearing with Lucas grease Front and rears differential oil changed Transfer case oil changed Transmission oil changed Engine oil changed every 3500 miles with full synthetic oil and ZDDP New water pump New fuel pump New belts New radiator New clutch fan New starter New both radiator hoses and all heater hoses and thermostat New spark plugs NGK Iridium and wires, rotor and cap Replaced automatic hubs with new WARN hubs and works great I replaced factory radio with the retro style, factory one goes with it Replaced all speaker with new ones from LMC Truck 2 USB connection to Retro Radio New headlights with better quality from LMC Truck. It is setup for 4 low beam and 2 high beam, but can be setup for 4 low and 4 high or 2 low and 4 high. Previous owner put in a edelbrock carburetor, I planted to put back an original one and have a core Rochester QJ that goes with it. I don’t like the edelbrock to much. The horn button always falls out, but I planned to put the newer style Suburban steering wheel on it and i have one that goes with it. It is in great condition. It also includes the black floor liners as pictured I removed the AC pump as it needs to be rebuilt and did not do that yet, old pump goes with it, all the AC stuff is still there, just result the pump, install and refill. I also have a new belt for it already. I put a ply wood in the back but the carpet underneath is still in great condition. The plywood is just laying in there and only attached under the molding in the back and used the original screw holes, just longer screws. Nothing was drilled. The side wood is only attached to the plywood. I can remove the plywood easily if desired. I removed the read dutch door inside panels but I have them, I just did not like them in the back and remove them. They go with it. I have few more parts that go with it. This Suburban is not modified yet, this is a rare excellent condition Suburban in factory style no lift or anything. There are a lot of great Suburbans out there but very rarely in original condition. It may need some valve cover gaskets in the near future, they are probably a bit brittle from sitting so long and sweating a bit. This Suburban can be driven anywhere from here.
