Vehicle description
I"m selling my 1985 Saab 900 turbo 3-dr. 3 speed automatic. It is in good driving condition. A previous owner did some minor body work and painted it. If there was minor rust on this car ever, there definitely isnt currently. It looks pretty slick. Interior is in really pretty good shape. Leather seats have no damage or tears or anything. Rear seats hardly sat in, for instance.
In the year and so that I"ve owned it I drove it from Chicagoland home to Boston and then have driven it around in new england here and there, mostly around town
Starts easily and idles well. Drives at 65+ on highway with no problems over long distances. Turbo is in very good shape, good acceleration.
New OEM saab exhaust + muffler. New brake pads and rotors F+R Did some vaccuum hose and check valve replacement /work Drained and refilled auto transmission oil, changed filter Near New tires all around Car has shelby for saab wheels that sell on ebay for ~$800
All the stuff that is needed for a MA inspection is working (car is currently driven, inspected, registered and insured). Lights, wipers+washers, exhaust, mirrors, glass, tires, brakes, tie rods, axle boots, etc.
needs headliner (old one removed by previous owner, the backing is all there.) radio switch for power sunroof installed one of the fuel pumps probably could stand to be replaced. (e.g. when tank is below 1/2, it can become fuel starved. Keep the tank above 1/2, and it"s all good).
Car had a "rebuilt" michigan title which the previous owner got from the owner before that. Ebay requires it be listed as rebuilt. I don"t know why. The car doesn"t have any evidence of any significant accident. You will receive a clear MA title and bill of sale.
That"s pretty much everything.
It"s fun to drive. I"m only selling it because I don"t have a place to park it, and it isn"t big enough for all of the kids.
