Vehicle description
Rolls-Royce Silver Spur. I believe the mileage of 66,000 to be original. The Rolls starts quickly and drives very well, stops well and shifts well. It has been in my family for about 13 years and has not been used regularly for some time. It has a new battery and had a fair bit of work done a couple of years ago. The pictures identify the known body and interior issues. It appears to be very solid with no significant rust issues. I would rate this an excellent driver with great potential. It is not in show condition and I hope to find it a good home. There are several items that need attention; Wipers, passenger seat motor works but is not moving the seat, the automatic door locks are not working. The cruise control engage button is missing. It has an aftermarket radio and boot mounted cd player. The oxygen sensor light is on.Starts easily and the brake pressure comes up quickly. Feels smooth and stops well. Bright work is in good contition, the top of the front bumper, right side is wrinkled(does not appear that it was from an accident). Rubber on the rear bumper is damaged. The grill and the Spirit of Ecstasy are in excellent condition. The gas filler cover appears to be flattened. Most of the wood is very good, the right rear door wood is water damaged. The tray tables look great and the rear footrests are in place. The truck is clean and presents well. The leather is okay and could use additional feeding. There is some damage to the drivers bolster, as shown. There are a number of areas under the vinyl top that are bubbling. Depending on your intentions, it would need to be removed, repaired and replaced or painted.I have seen a number of Rolls from this era. Many have the same issues and more. I hope that I have represented the car honestly so that you can make a good decision.
