I purchased this car 4 years ago from a guy who had started the project and died before he completed it. I have put an incredible amount of time and money into this car over the time I have owned it. When I bought it was a mess. The engine was rebuilt and the body was on but it needed pretty much everything else. So with the help of a local shop and a body guy we managed to turn this car into a beautiful machine. We finished the engine which is a "68 Camaro sb chevy, and put on custom fuel injection and exhaust so it sounds great. We rebuilt the 5 speed getrag transmission and put in a high performance clutch. It has dual radiators and electric fans for cooling. This car has NO LEAKS anywhere! Most of the wiring has been redone so everything works properly. All the suspension has been redone with poly bushings and coil overs and fancy shocks and struts. Has 4 new Dunlop low pro tires. Brakes all new. All brake lines and hoses new or like new. New steering rack and tie rods ball joints and rear suspension control arms. New alternator. Ac compressor. Belts. Hoses. Electric water pump. To much to list. Most everything has been replaced. The interior is all custom done and looks really nice. New everything. Carpet, headliner, dash, doors seats are Mr. Mike with prancing horse logo. Fancy back lit Ferrari logo in rear window. Ferrari logo floor mats. Ferrari logo shifter and shift plate. Polished aluminum pedal plates. Nice dash and gauges. Alpine stereo, kicker sub and amp set up. Body was made by Air Dynamics and looks very close to real deal. It was painted a year ago 3 part pearl white. hidden door handles and poppers. Most people will not know if it is real or not. Either way it is a very cool original car and everyone wants to sit in it and take pictures. Really draws attention. Has all the emblems and curves of the real car. About the only thing that is left from the original fiero car is the inner body shell. After all the time, planning and money I have put into this car I have finally got to the point of fine tuning and getting all the remaining little details and bugs worked out. I have put 162 miles on the car since it was finished this fall and planned to put it into storage and finish touch ups in the spring due to winters we have in Mn. Then of all things I had the car parked in a parking lot at work and someone hit the car and pushed it up on the curb. The front bumper and valance was damaged and the rear bumper and lower valance was damaged some of the supports behind them are probably bent. You will need to do fiberglass work and some other finishing and tuning The hood, doors everything else is ok. It is drivable as it is but needs fiberglass work and paint to get it back like new again. After all I have into this car { $25k plus} to have this happen was the end of the road. I am done. Someone will get a super deal on a really cool car that should not take much more time to finish. I am just out of money and time and my wife will divorce me if I spend any more time or money on this car.
